Have you tried adjusting the feet?
There are several sources and solutions for new cushions or boots for the Pioneer PL-600. The springs and feet in this model are also used in a number of other decks. But the lower-level models like PL-400 and PL-5 use a different foot.
When searching for solutions, the PL-L1000 seems to be the most popular of the bunch. The boots are pioneer part PEB102. Many try some type of washer or o-ring instead of a full boot.
There are new solutions coming up all the time. For example, google produced these:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/266683207/ ... -l1000-etc
There was also an ebay seller and Pioneer PL-L1000 'guru' Professor Bizzt from Florida. I think he's pretty much done using ebay but you might find him with some searches. He makes / made O-rings for the cushions.
And ebay seller Lasermel made boots in the past. Not sure what his status is at the moment.
I wouldn't recommend using the transport screws.
